At the Beach

Tuesday is our 'nature outing' day with our make-shift homeschool group.

Yesterday we enjoyed a trip down the forest trail to the beach.

I love taking our kids to the beaches around here because there is so much to explore. All of our local beaches are on the edge of the woods. Edges between different habits are home to a greater diversity of species than just a forest habitat alone would have.

Then we found this guy on the beach.

Then as we were leaving we found this guy.

Bee really does act like an enchanted woodland creature sometimes.

Outside "lessons" are really my favorite kind of learning.
